Mr. Katsu Yoshino is a renowned World Market Seafood Trader; actively involved in fish trading in cities like Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Beijing, Hong Kong, Singapore, New York, L.A, Madrid, Barcelona and Paris before he decided to open up the doors to his first food and fish shop in North London he calls “Yoshino”.
Yoshino won its first “Retail Quality Award” in recognition of their high standards of products, premises and handling practises by the Sea Fish Industry Authority. The award has since then been won 4 times!
1989 - 2002
Yoshino rapidly evolved and Mr. Yoshino opened up his first restaurant on Brewer Street in Central London turning around 625 customers each day. Soon after, Mr. Yoshino expanded and opened a Sushi Takeaway Shop in Shaftesbury Avenue.
Yoshino relocated and set up a new home at 3 Piccadilly Place, focusing on their fresh sushi bar. Tucked behind two alleyways, Yoshino Restaurant welcomes you with a traditional touch of Japanese culture alongside a healthy, fresh menu.
Yoshino was awarded with “The Top Oriental Restaurant of the Year”, in the London Restaurant Award.
